Hi everyone. My name is Bob. And I’m very excited to be talking to you today about how to make an online police report. \u5927\u5bb6\u597d\u3002\u6211\u7684\u540d\u5b57\u53eb\u9c8d\u52c3\u3002\u6211\u975e\u5e38\u9ad8\u5174\u80fd\u501f\u6b64\u673a\u4f1a\u4e0e\u5927\u5bb6\u5206\u4eab\u5982\u4f55\u5728\u7ebf\u4e0a\u62a5\u8b66\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So you can use this system to report any non-emergency \u2014 so that’s a situation that doesn’t require the police, or the fire brigade, or an ambulance to attend. In terms of the matters that you can report on the online system, there’s a list here. You can report: theft, lost property, property damage, stolen, damaged or abandoned vehicle, nuisance or disturbance and hooning. \u8fd9\u4efd\u5355\u5b50\u5217\u51fa\u60a8\u53ef\u4ee5\u5728\u7ebf\u4e0a\u7cfb\u7edf\u4e0a\u62a5\u544a\u7684\u4e8b\u60c5\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u76d7\u7a83\uff1b\u8d22\u4ea7\u4e22\u5931\uff1b\u8d22\u4ea7\u635f\u5bb3\uff1b\u88ab\u76d7\u3001\u635f\u574f\u6216\u9057\u5f03\u7684\u8f66\u8f86\uff1b\u6ecb\u6270\u6216\u5e72\u6270\u548c\u98d9\u8f66\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So once you’ve completed your online report, that will be sent to the police communications team and they will then create an official police job. Once this has been done, we will contact you and provide you with a reference number, and you can use this reference number to follow up on the report in future. \u60a8\u5b8c\u6210\u7ebf\u4e0a\u62a5\u544a\u540e\uff0c\u62a5\u544a\u4f1a\u8f6c\u53d1\u7ed9\u8b66\u5bdf\u901a\u4fe1\u7ec4\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u901a\u4fe1\u7ec4\u4f1a\u5efa\u7acb\u4e00\u4e2a\u5b98\u65b9\u7684\u8b66\u5bdf\u4efb\u52a1\u3002\u4e4b\u540e\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4f1a\u4e0e\u60a8\u8054\u7cfb\uff0c\u5e76\u628a\u6848\u4ef6\u7684\u53c2\u8003\u7f16\u7801\u7ed9\u60a8\uff0c\u4ee5\u540e\u60a8\u53ef\u4ee5\u7528\u8fd9\u4e2a\u53c2\u8003\u7f16\u7801\u6765\u8ddf\u8fdb\u6848\u4ef6\u3002\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, please keep in mind that there are some issues which are not police matters and so you shouldn’t be reporting on those kind of issues. \u8bf7\u8bb0\u4f4f\uff0c\u6709\u4e9b\u4e8b\u60c5\u4e0d\u5728\u8b66\u5bdf\u7684\u7ba1\u8f96\u8303\u56f4\u4e4b\u5185\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u60a8\u4e0d\u5e94\u8be5\u62a5\u544a\u6b64\u7c7b\u4e8b\u60c5\u3002 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, you have a neighbour who has a dog that won’t stop barking. Now that is a council matter and should refer that to your local council, OK? If you are in a life-threatening situation police call Triple Zero. Likewise, if you need the police to attend immediately, if there is a crime that is happening right at that moment or maybe someone has committed a crime but they are running away \u2014 in those situations you should also contact Triple Zero. \u5982\u679c\u60a8\u751f\u547d\u53d7\u5230\u5a01\u80c1\u7684\u8bdd\uff0c\u8bf7\u62e8\u6253000\u3002\u540c\u6837\uff0c\u5982\u679c\u60a8\u9700\u8981\u8b66\u5bdf\u7acb\u523b\u5230\u573a\u5904\u7406\uff0c\u6216\u8005\u60a8\u4e86\u89e3\u5230\u6848\u60c5\u6b63\u5728\u53d1\u751f\uff0c\u6216\u8005\u6709\u4eba\u72af\u4e86\u7f6a\u800c\u6b63\u5728\u9003\u9038\uff0c\u5728\u8fd9\u4e9b\u60c5\u51b5\u4e0b\uff0c\u60a8\u4e5f\u5e94\u8be5\u62e8\u6253000\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now if you would like to report someone who has breached a public health order, for example maybe they should be in isolation but they’re not, maybe you saw a large group of people gathering when they are not allowed to, or maybe there’s a business trading when they’re not allow to trade.
